Now begins the journey in Old San Juan Cemetery. I was told by many locals and police NOT to go as it sits directly across from a drug infested slum. That kept me away for a day! I called on MY Angel and the next day it just so happened that a very famous singer was being buried. It was swarming with police and TV. I had 20 minutes before the huge crowd marched down the tunnel. I think the pressure kept me very focused as I went from one incredible piece to another. It wasn't until I developed the film that I really got to appreciate what I saw!
